Open-air cafes and bars begin to fill up and there’s live entertainment somewhere in the city every night whether it’s a classical music or jazz concert, a romantic guitar serenade or a dance extravaganza. So after you have had dinner, take a stroll through the streets and squares and soak up the atmosphere.

Friday	Yucatán Symphony Orchestra, Peon Contreras Theater, 9 p.m. Most Fridays
Saturday	Fiesta Mexicana. Paseo Montejo & Calle 47, 8 p.m. Heart of Mérida Festival Main Square & Calle 60, 9 p.m.
Sunday	Mérida en Domingo festival takes place on the main square and surrounding streets all day until 9 p.m. Reenactment of a Mestiza Wedding in front of City Hall at noon
